New Year Resolutions: Where to invest in 2018.
Happy new year.
As the year starts and one ends, Most of us tend to set our new year resolutions and assess the previous year goals.
It is to my understanding that the financial goals never tend to miss in those plans.
The issue is where to invest those little or abundant savings that you have.
Here are some of the ideas on where you can invest in this year.
It is January, How about we started today and collect the fruits in December 2018.God willingly.
As my friend G would say, 2018 is gonna be a good year.
1. Stocks
Stocks are still showing super growth though they need detailed analysis for one to invest wisely and with calculated risks and if done right. The results are amazing with IPOs in 2017 closing out well in December. Your harvesting day is just 12 months away if you start today.
You do not need to start big.
2. Bonds.
You can still participate in treasury bonds and corporate bonds (If you can meet the minimum thresholds). Also one can invest in SUKUK Bonds (Especially for Muslims) as they are non interest bonds.
3. Forex.
You can also invest in Forex through account managers. Or you partake to learn books such as Currency trading for dummies that can help you in ensuring that you understand what you are doing and earn profits.
4. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
You may not be able to invest in own real estate investment properties due to capital , but you can invest through REITs which are traded on stock exchanges.
5. Equity Crowdfunding
This is a new model of allowing you to invest from as low as USD 10. You can invest in multiple platforms as an equity investor .
6. Commodities
Learn and participate on purchasing soft and hard commodities traded on various exchanges . Learn about Gold, Crops etc
7. Crowd farming
Small investments are pooled together and invested in farming through a farm manager , who invests and manages the farm on your behalf.
8. Cryptocurrency
Well, Lack of regulations remove the necessary protection to the investor but returns are mouth watering . There is a thin line between being smart and being greedy.
9. Savings/ Fixed Deposits.
I came across this 52 weeks savings challenges. You can do it.. It is worth the try.
I trully hope that this article will be very useful. Best of luck.
